Allen Seed & Grain is a small custom harvesting operation. In May Jed heads south to southwestern Oklahoma to begin his harvest season. As the harvest progresses northward, Jed also has several stops in Kansas, Nebraska, and then on to Montana. Jed returns home back to Iowa in mid-August. His equipment consists of a reliable Case IH 2188 combine with that is equipped with field-tracker, chopper & chaff spreader, and full AFS yield & moisture monitor, with GPS yield mapping available. Cutting is done with a 30' 1020 flex head with finger reel, which is can be locked rigid for direct cutting wheat. Six & eight row 30" corn heads are used for corn. One grain truck is available for hauling, supplemented with a grain cart.
Jed will work independently for you or along side your machine as well. Jed often teams up with other harvesters too, so if your job is big or small give Jed a call!
